I like using hostgator.com, but that's my choice. There are many good companies out there and you need to decide on what are important parameters for you. If you are not sure, go and read some reviews that provide a list of recommendation on selecting the right hosting company. Depending on your level of expertise, some people do not require phone support and only email support. I prefer going with a company that provides 24/7 phone support. The reason is simple because if I am going to have problems with my website, it will likely happen at midnight just when I need to access the site.

The best way to make money at home? Probably to have a couple of hundred million dollars in T-Bills. Okay, so you may not have enough money to be able to live off of the interest. But there are other ways to make money. If you are a programmer, software developer or web designer, you can make money online while you live, well, wherever you like. The good thing about these products is that they are electronic, so you would be sending by e-mail or by FTP to a website with the client downloading the files.
I guess you could say the same for ebooks, but for me - and I am sure for a lot of people out there - it would have to be a life-changing ebook at this point, since there are so many ebooks that don't really give you really new information on anything. And the so-called "marketing breakthroughs" that so many of them tout are nothing more than re-hashed methods that stopped working months or even years ago for a home based business.
So are there any kind of ebooks with which you can make money at home? Well, you may have some secret family recipes. They will have to be really good - but they don't necessarily have to be complicated. Just as long as it is something that you have never seen anywhere else. Of course you already have thought of day care centers at home, or even pet sitting, but given our aging human population, I wonder why taking care of the aged at home has not come up? And many of the ones that are legal just don't pay very much - no where near as much as their ads claim they do. One that comes to mind is filling out surveys. I guess this is one reason I could never be a lawyer or accountant - too many forms to fill out just as part of the day-to-day job. I think I would rather get a root canal instead.

Then go to blogger.com again using the same key words, start a blog to help bring up your franchise web site in the search engines. You can express your ideas, communicate with customers and do forms of advertisement about your products and services. This becomes like an online newsletter. Some things to consider for your home business to make money:
Have a personal plan just like you do a business plan. I humbly suggest you start each day (if you have a job and also work at home, or if you work at home only), by getting up earlier enough that you have quiet time for things that set your day on the right track. For example: meditation, prayer, contemplation, journaling your blessings and your feelings, yoga or some form of exercise. I don't think I know a truly successful person that doesn't take care of the inner self.

Weather permitting, get outside and have your lunch break. A sound diet of real foods, well prepared and supplemented with natural vitamins and supplements will help to keep your health strong.
Take time, no not take time, MAKE TIME for family and friends or you may wake up someday with a very profitable home business and find you've lost your family. It happens so make sure family time is held as sacred. People get misguided while trying to make money at the cost of their families. Balance is always the key in life in my opinion.

Of all the ways to make money that there are out there, even though a lot of them are really good, they are just too difficult to get started in. Or they are a bit too unrealistic. For many of them it very often makes a lot of sense to do them as part time jobs. But for a lot of people their full-time job does not leave them much time to do a part-time job. Often just due to shear exhaustion. There are other ways to make money that have been tried and people are still writing about a lot of them. Selling stuff at auction sites is a good one. Some people made a lot of money many years ago with this method, and perhaps a few people are doing it today. But I suspect that is is very few.
The thing with the latest and the greatest home business is that by the time that Joe Average on the Internet hears about it, it is usually too late. Kind of like coming out to prospect for gold in California a few years after 1849. Kind of missed the boat by a bit, you know. The thing can be said for a lot of the marketing programs. As an example, in San Francisco during the gold rush, there were the people who came out to make their fortunes with gold. Not because these reports are generally short 2- 5 pages back and front and not because they are cheap, $3 - $5 does not mean you can write garbage and sell to people to make money. If it is your goal to be a scammer and possibly make the list of America's Most Wanted then I guess you are going to do, what you are going to do. But, if it is the goal to build a reputable mail order business, then write quality reports and make money-providing information and insights that people need.

Success is something that you need to make happen, not wait for it to happen. There are no quick fixes and you should view this as a long term plan to make money.
